Microbial & Viral Transmission Risk Management

MEDformance Safer Solutions tm

A comprehensive approach for mitigating the risk of pathogen transmission while improving IAQ (Indoor Air Quality). Chemistry and technology solutions for a complex set of challenges.

Efficacy doesn’t have to be complicated.

Cleaner. Leaner. Greener.

We can’t just pour more disinfectants on the problems. And not just the problem de jour: COVID-19. The solutions must also target all other pathogens, microbes, molds, fungi, and biofilms that cause infection and aggravate respiratory issues while simultaneously improving indoor air quality.

Process & People

Send us your floor plans. We can do a virtual walk through of your facility, assess current state and give you a clear roadmap. Then we use your resources, ours, or both to deploy. Simple.

Persistent Surface Treatment

From the operating room to your facility – a safety net for surfaces. We also treat HVAC systems – making the trip through a facility’s duct work a nightmare for pathogens, microbes, mold, mildew, fungi, and biofilms. Scary.

Safer Solutions

BAC (Botanical Antimicrobial Cleaner) is proven to be a 99.99% effective residual action cleaner.

Recognized as safe under FIFRA by the EPA and FDA — tackles surface damaging mold, organisms, pests, and insects, making it the leading antimicrobial cleaner  for both commercial, residential and agricultural use.  Cleaner. Safer.

Clean Air Systems

Portable, mountable, in-duct,  technologies and ODOGard filters configured in layered systems with persistent  antimicrobial surface treatments and low-to- VOC-free disinfectants and sanitizers. Cleaner air. Safer Solutions.

“Regular Use of Common Disinfectants … “

Association of Occupational Exposure to Disinfectants With Incidence of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Among US Female Nurses

“In a cohort study of 73,262 US female nurses participating in the Nurses’ Health Study II who were followed up from 2009 to 2015, occupational exposure to cleaning products and disinfectants was significantly associated with a 25% to 38% increased risk of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease independent of asthma and smoking.”

Graph: Americans spend less than 8% of their time outdoors

Our response to managing Infection Control & Prevention requirements has lead to safer, cleaner indoor environments that are more conducive to breathing well!

Air Innovation

“Americans, on average, spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors, where the concentrations of some pollutants are often 2 to 5 times higher than typical outdoor concentrations.

Health effects associated with indoor air pollutants include:

  • Irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat.
  • Headaches, dizziness, and fatigue.
  • Respiratory diseases, heart disease, and cancer.”

EPA

MEDformance Safer Solutions is a layered solution set focused on the following design points:

  1. Mitigate the risk of infectious disease transmission
  2. Improve Overall Air Quality

All components of our tool kit are proven in healthcare settings with supporting scientific and clinical data specific to each intended application.

Air Disinfection Systems

Data shows that SARS-CoV2 can waft 18 ft. in the air, further if moved along by heating and air systems. They can stay airborne for up to 2-hours.

1st Line of Defense: Portable air disinfection and cleaning systems that utilize an atmospheric plasma discharge — the same type of discharge found in lightning strikes — to deactivate and destroy all harmful airborne microorganisms.

Contaminated central air handling systems can become breeding grounds for mold, mildew and other sources of biological contaminants and can then distribute these contaminants. Source: EPA – Indoor Air Quality

Manage Surfaces

“It’s not instead of regular cleaning. But it’s the idea of putting down a surface. It’s something that gives you a baseline, A baseline of protection.”

Dr. Marc Seigel, Fox News Contributor

2nd Line of Defense: Persistent bonded antimicrobial surface treatments applied electrostatically on surfaces and deep into your facility’s cold air returns form the first gauntlet for the tiny things that make us sick, or make stuff stink.

The same surface treatments used in ORs, ICUs, and labs have been tested to a simulated 12-years. Plus, the invisible base layer’s effectiveness is actually improved by cleaning and disinfecting the treated surfaces.

Clean Sans VOCs

Simpler is also more effective. The University of Georgia used to use 512  chemicals to clean and disinfect. Now they use less than 10.

3rd Line of Defense: Stop being part of the problem. Replace cleaning solutions and sanitizers that release VOCs which can trigger asthma events, irritate allergies, and lead to COPD.

Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) is on the EPA List-N (COVID-19 disinfectants) and is rated as 99.999% effective.

Cleaning supplies, paints, insecticides, and other commonly used products introduce many different chemicals, including volatile organic compounds, directly into the indoor air.

Our go to cleaner is BAC. A Botanical Antimicrobial Cleaner that is a 99.99% effective residual action cleaner. It works around food and on both porous and non-porous surfaces. A RTU (Ready-To-Use) formula from whole plant naturally and seasonally sourced essential oils that replace toxic products with reimagined green, highly-efficacious solutions. Works great on stainless steel and glass, plus pests hate it.

Clean better. Breathe easier.

Let’s talk about simpler, safer alternatives.
